Integrative Yoga Therapy

Welcome! I’m Ashley. If you’re looking to re-connect to and re-member your truest, most peaceful and vibrant self; if you want to not only feel ‘okay’ but fully alive, you’re in the right place.

Collective Wellbeing fuses the depth of ancient yoga insights with modern science and western medicine to support individuality and holistic wellbeing.

Where Science & Spirituality meet

The word ‘healing’ comes from the Anglo-Saxon word ‘haelen’, which means ‘to make whole’.

While our healthcare system tends to separates us into parts, Yoga Therapy works to integrate our body, mind, and spirit, so that we can experience true healing.

As one of the world’s earliest systems of holistic health, Yoga Therapy is accessible, evidence-based preventative medicine, and effective for conditions ranging from chronic disease to mental health, as well as supports aging and personal growth.

yoga therapy is so much more than doing poses! It is…

Holistic

Rooted in ancient yoga philosophy and modern medicine, Yoga Therapy cares for the WHOLE person. It is a form of complementary medicine that’s natural, gentle and non-invasive.

Deep

We need more than 20 minutes with a doctor. We need more than a bandaid for our symptoms. By exploring the root causes of dis-ease, Yoga Therapy supports deep long-lasting change.

Personalized

You are a unique individual, and your care should be too. Yoga Therapy offers healing that is completely custom to your needs, and life situation.

It offers us educational processes that are designed to enhance health and wellness at all levels of our physical, psychological, and spiritual life. And it is comprised of non-dogmatic, secular approaches that respect our age, culture, religious and philosophical orientation, occupation, and mental and physical health.”

About Ashley

For much of my life, I struggled with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I was disembodied, and disconnected from my truest, most beautiful self. I needed more than what western medicine had to offer. When I discovered and experienced yoga in 2011, I felt truly alive for the first time in my life.

Seeing the profound effect yoga was having on my mental and physical health, I went on to train in integrative, trauma-informed yoga, and have been teaching it since 2014.

I experienced another wake-up call when my dad became sick in 2021. His tragic struggles with the healthcare system moved me to create ‘Collective Wellbeing’ and study Integrative Yoga Therapy as an antidote to what I had witnessed. ‘Collective Wellbeing’ is founded on my deep belief in a more deep, holistic and personalized system of care, for both our personal and collective wellbeing.

“I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.”

Joseph Campbell

  • Where these modalities differ is that Yoga Therapy offers support beyond the physical or psychoemotional. Yoga Therapy looks at each individual holistically, and includes postures, breathing exercises, mindfulness tools, as well as the practical application of yoga philosophy and Ayurveda.

  • Yoga therapy is most beneficial when you commit to a series of sessions during which we explore your personal goals, challenges, and practices to help move you towards increased well-being. We will decide together the frequency of your sessions.

However, we can always begin with a single session and see how things go!
